Maddie + Triggs is an animation series created by Colm Tobin and Aidan O’Donovan. It was produced by Turnip + Duck, the animation was by Sun and Moon and most of the character voices and song vocals were recorded by Paul Fegan at bitsixteen. It stars Maddie (Bonnie O’Meara), who is visually impaired, and her dog Triggs (Aidan O’Donovan) as they go on adventures every day, exploring the world through their other other senses. The series is designed so that it works as an audio experience for blind viewers, as well as a visual series for partially or fully-sighted viewers. The first season was broadcast by both RTÉ and BBC and has also been sold internationally. The second season is currently in production.
