My script is highly confidential; is there a security risk?
No. At the outset of any project, we will happily sign an NDA (Non-Disclosure Agreement) with you. We also advise that you ask all voiceover artists (VOs), language monitors, and anyone else who’s working on your project, to do the same.
Does bitsixteen supply voiceover artists (VOs)?
Yes and no. If you don’t have a voiceover of your own and don’t know where to look, we can put you in touch with many tried-and-tested, professional VOs. However, to keep costs down for you, we don’t act as a middle-man. This means that you can contact the VO directly and agree a rate between you. We don’t make a cent from VO referrals and so, you pay less.
Soon we will have a VOs page where you can listen to samples and contact VOs directly. For now, contact us and we will put you in touch with those who best suit your needs.
OK, so I have a script that I need recorded, what do I do now?
Simple. You first need to choose a good voiceover artist (see note above) who will deliver your message. So, where do you find good VOs? Well, bitsixteen can point you in the direction of lots of good VOs. Once you’ve chosen your VO, we’ll book them in for you and record your script.
Do I need to do anything to my script before I send it to bitsixteen for recording?
Yes. Please download and read this document. It will help you to ready your script for the recording session.
Do bitsixteen need to receive scripts in any particular format?
PDF is fine, but we prefer to receive scripts in Microsoft Word 2003 (or earlier) format, if possible. This enables us to temporarily add commas in order to make longer sentences easier to read. However, if you were hoping to send us a document in a different format, just contact us first and we’ll let you know if we can read it.
